As you gaze through the past reviews notice the difference in tone and references to lack of education qualifications at the HS level. There in lies some of the many problems this school has. Educationally I would consider this a relatively mediocre school. While this does not apply to all teachers, many of the teachers are under qualified for their positions and spend more time focusing on indoctrinating students religious with the school's fundamentalist values. Which leads me to say that
... Read more this school focuses much more on indoctrination than education. This almost reaches a point of immaturity and unprofessional behavior on the staff and administration's part. For example, I have personally heard multiple teachers and administrators openly mock homosexuals in the classroom. As a previous review of the school said, it is very difficult to form your own opinions and views as the school makes it a point to make sure that students all have the exact same way of thinking. Bottom line: If your children having fundamentalist Christian values is more important to you than education, send your children here. Otherwise, steer clear. Read less

Victory Christian is kind of a joke. I went there and I would advise you not to go there. They offer hardly any AP classes, or honors classes. There is also special treatment for athletes. It is just sad...

Victory claims to instill quality without compromise, but I must say, this is not true. They focus so much on the spiritual and not so much on academics. I graduated from Victory in 2003. No other school offers the academic, athletic, and spiritual guidance like Victory does. The school's mission trip program from 6th grade to 12th grade is the best program in the mid-west region.

Victory has made an awesome difference in the lives of my family. Our daughter began attending Victory in Kindergarten and is now going into the fourth grade. The teachers and staff have helped instill the love of God in our daughter, as well as encouraged her to excel in academics and sports. Victory

Victory has had such a positive impact on my family that we are now members of the church and I am now employed at Victory. Since working there, I see even more clearly that the complaints of students and parents are often the result of their own efforts--what they have or have not put into the school. We cannot 'fix' a student, but we can provide the resources for the family and the ministry together to change lives. Victory loves parent involvement. Read less

This school is average in terms of academics. It is 'Christian.' Rules, dress codes, and religion prevail. There are cliques. There are some double standards.
