Read what parents are saying about Cincinnati Hills-Otto ArmlederMy daughter went to the prek 4/5 and had an assistant teacher that was very physical with her. We met with the assistant teacher and principal and the principal did not follow up on anything she said in the meeting. Additionally they commonly hold back children from going to kindergarten saying they need an extra year to mature. In my opinion this is done to increase test scores. A lot of the pre-k 4/5 kids were 5 at the beginning of the school year and turned 6 before school eneded. Program was not a good fit for my child but could definitely work for others. Ask the right questions. Just like they interview you, interview them and be sure its a good fit and hold them (administration) accountable to their philosophies, methodologies, and policies
Posted by a parent on 11/3/2017Our son is a 6th grader at Armleder and has transitioned into the school very well. There is diversity there which has been hard for me find in Cincinnati and one of the reasons we chose Armleder. Education was the first reason. My son is being challenged and given opportunities much more than he was at his public school. For us it has been an adventure, a place for him to interact with new people and the whole downtown experience of it is energizing. He likes school there and we have been pleased with it. I believe the bullying issues mentioned below were resolved when the school decided to transition 7th and 8th grades to the North Campus.
Posted by a parent on 11/19/2014This is my child's third year at Armleder. The atmosphere is one of family and community, and the curriculum is challenging which is what my child needs. I would recommend this school to any family that is looking for an excellent curriculum and a christian based foundation.
Posted by a parent on 10/31/2012my kid got bullied here. do not go here, i am a very upset parent because there were some girls in 7th grade who bullied my kid. i am now sending my kid to the REAL CINCINNATI HILLS CHRISTIAN ACADEMY in mason because of this. Anyway the education is not as good as the real school

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI love this school, the teachers, and administration. They nurture children. You can tell that the students are a priority for them and I appreciate that in this crazy world. My son's speech and comprehension improved tremendously. His self-esteem has increased tremendously. I do not have any fear when dropping my child off to school as I know he will be well taken care of.Parent Review1y ago - Trent Montessori Preschool

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt's a great school because the staff cares for the children. As a parent, I have never been more happy with a school, than I am with St. Francis Seraph. My kids matter to them. As an African American, I finally found a school in Cincinnati that looks beyond skin color and socioeconomic standards. I am truly happy. My children have a brighter future because of the dedication of the principal and staff.Parent Review13y ago - St Joseph School
