This is my first year at WGH and I'm a sophomore. I transfered from Niles and I find that I like it much more. There are going to be positive and negative things anywhere you go so don't let what other people tell you overbear your decision. If you stay away from the riff-raff you won't be affected.

I am the parent of a WGH freshman. My son really enjoys going to Harding. The music program is awesome and he has made a lot of friends in the band. His classes are challenging and the teachers seem dedicated. We feel that the diversity at WGH is great and are happy that our kids can attend there.

Both have excelled, been treated fairly, and been able to get involved in areas that would not have been available to them in the suburban school where we live. The one disappointment is the parent involvement. This is not the fault of the school as there are MANY opportunities for the involvement. Overall it is an awesome and special school. It is truly the best around. Thank-you to all that make it that way. Read less

I'm an african american female at wgh and i think harding is not the right school you would want your child to attend. I agree, Harding is an excellent school- if the student is motivated to learn. It s possible to go through the entire system anonymously if you want to. If you show motivation, however, most teachers will be happy to help you. The students are much less cliquish than in smaller schools, which makes

The curriculum was also very good, featuring a large list of languages and electives and an interesting schedule, which made the experience very college-like. The variety of the classes let the college-bound student get a head start on picking their chosen field. I currently attend wgh and am a sr. I think harding is a great school; however it is so large that it is very difficult for teachers to keep track of their students. This is a good thing and a bad thing. Being as though there are so many kids inrolled at wgh the it is very easy for students to skip
