The grade scales harder. But I have a 3.88 and I'm in the 'harder' classes you might say. You'll get better education but colleges don't take special consideration which puts you at a disadvantage.

i went to dover all my life and its bomb. yea we get graded harder but theyre really just trying to make us work harder to acheive a grade. its not a disadvantage if we work hard enough for it and in the long run we got a better education. im not gifted but i still have straight A;s in dover . its all ...  Read more

my kids love dover middle school. the teachers really are involved along with the principals especially with troubled kids that need a little more guidance. they have d.o.c which involves them in volunteer work within the community. the biggest is the leaf raking for the elderly that cannot other wise ...  Read more

I think this school has been the greatest for my daughter personally, and their higher grading scale pushed her to get better grades.

Dover city schools chose a different grading scale than most other schools. What would be an A at another school is only a B at a Dover school. This puts the students at an unfair disadvantage when applying to colleges. Their GPA will be lower at a Dover school even though they are making the same percentage ...  Read more
