... Read more the basics of spelling and math. The first year they all had to work hard, but it has paid off. The grading scale is slightyly higher than that of the public school, but it has pushed the kids to try to get that higher scale. The class sizes are perfect. The teachers have more opportunity to have one on one time with those that are struggling so they cannot 'slip through the cracks'. I am very proud of how my kids have grown in Temple Christian. This is an excellent school with a strong curriculum. It stresses an emphasis on the basics. I feel my child is getting a solid educational foundation as well as a sound moral compass.

I am a parent of 4 Temple Christian Students. We will also be enrolling our other 2 children when their ages allow. We are very pleased with this school. The curriculum is excellent! And challenging. My children have tested way above that of the public school norms. I appreciate the smaller class
... Read more sizes and individual care. The principle is very kind and concerned for the needs of the students and staff. The teachers are ministering to each of their students academically, emotionally and most importantly spiritually. Temple Christian adheres to a high set of standards with modest dress codes, Christian based rules and their strong fundamentals. I highly recommend this school. My plans are to have all 6 of my children go to Temple Christian School from K through 12th. Read less

My oldest has attended TCS for 4 years now. She is an honor's student. The curriculum is a high standard--In fact my elementary student tests out at 5 grades higher than current grade level. I highly recommend the school. In fact, my youngest will be starting her schooling journey there next year.

Temple Christian is a school whose curriculum and atmosphere are founded on a solid Independent Baptist KJV 1611 doctrine. The students are immersed in God's word from the preschool to the senior classes. They have a daily Bible class and chapel once a week, often with youth leaders or missionaries
... Read more as special speakers. The teachers are dedicated to behavior that leads their students closer to the Lord. The Abeka curriculum used is challenging for the students, and is ahead of what the public schools are doing in comparative grades. There is a good mix of after-school activities to keep the students involved, and there's plenty of opportunity for the parents to support the school. I drive an hour each way daily because I feel that Temple is the best school to enforce what my children are taught both at home and in our local church. Read less

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
