... Read more socially and morally. Good behavior is stressed and required by teachers, administrators AND PARENTS. The investment that I am making now is already paying dividends as my kids grow into responsible adults. Centerville public schools are good too, but the level of discipline is simply not there nor the positive parental involvement. Also, at Incarnation your kids can play CYO sports, be in the school play, participate in clubs, etc... without the excess competition and pressure of the area public schools. You will not regret a decision to send your kids to Incarnation School. Read less

I am an Incarnation graduate and an Alter HS graduate and I do not think I can thank my parents enough for sending me to both. At Incarnation, I was challenged and taught to perform to the best of my abilities. The skills, knowledge, and faith was then carried over from Incarnation to Alter HS. Everything

There are many different groups of children there who can be your friends, but not too
... Read more many. The teachers pressure you to try to use all of your God-given gifts and they understand if you're going through a hard time at home and need help. Incarnation really helped me see the world in a new light, and the people there all deserve a standing ovation; from the student teachers to the teacher aides and to the people who have helped Incarnation grow from a small school run by the Sisters of the Precious Blood to a huge school with almost a thousand students. Incarnation school has a vision of following the footsteps of Jesus. The school prays together each morning (prayer read over the announcements) and joins together for mass once a week. This is a place where my children grow in their faith as well learing science, math, social studies etc.

My daughter who has since graduated an attends high school tells me on a regular basis how lucky she was to attend Incarnation. She feels, and other students tell her, how prepared Incarnation School grads are for their next steps in life. My children received an outstanding education. Not only did they receive a very challenging and highly academic curriculum, but the teachers and principal provided a very warm and caring environment. I was always made to feel like 'family', and now as my children attend college, I know that their success is attributed to their beginning roots at a superior elementary school. ... Read more my children academically through a variety of projects. Incarnation is constantly pushing itself into new directions while retaining those attributes which keep its learning stable. They have made an effort to introduce foreign language in all grade levels. They have a morning broadcast news that gives students experience with audio visual technology and leadership skills. They offer Destination Imagination, Art club, Handbell and Vocal Choir, Band classes during the school day, Peer Tutoring, and Junior High Optimist Club. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. AP classes are specific and not to be confused with other higher-level classes such as honors classes.
Before/After School

Vocational and/or technical courses offered within a comprehensive school, usually a senior high school.
Special Education Classes
A school or program within a school that provides services and training to students with moderate to severe mental and/or physical disabilities.
Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
