WRHS truly cares about each individual child. Students are provided with small classes and many opportunities to be actively involved in sports, clubs and classroom activities. It is truly a great school!!

I attended western reserve and I think it was an alright school to grow up in. The teachers were helpful, granted I dont think I learned as much as I should have--but I guess It was my fault as well. The person named 'george' who posted is a big idiot and didn't even go to the school but for one year, ...  Read more

Western Reserve is a wonderful school to attend. I was really pleased with my 12 years. I found that the teachers are very compassionate about their course of study and is willing to help anyone who asks. The key to success in class is to ask for help. They aren't going to spoon feed you; you have ...  Read more

I was a student at this school, graduated last year, some of the teachers where kinda ok, but mostly you could see that its a close knit Christian society. So with my religion being a minority they did there best to single me out and ridicule me. I have no problem with other religions myself, its mostly ...  Read more

I went through this school system from K-12. Many of the problems I had early on stemmed from persons other than teachers in elementary school. I was a horrible student. I literally hated school. But what it comes down to with Western Reserve is the academic level and willingness of the staff to help ...  Read more

I think this was a great school. I learned so much there. I was in the OWA program and also the ROTC. It really was nice! The teachers are terrific for the most part. They taught me how to read, write and do other things the proper way. The only bad thing was the sports programs. They don't offer enough ...  Read more

Western is a great school! Its small but not to small. Your kids could play almost any sport with out the fear of them being cut. There were no problems when I went to school. The 1 thing to remmember about High School, is that its not what you learn in the books, its the life skills you learn, communication, ...  Read more

The 'average' student graduating from the school does not appear to be at the level necessary to be successful as a first semester college student without significant prep work, even though they may have taken college prep course work at WRHS. Of course, this is a nation-wide problem, but it seems that ...  Read more

The school is good sized and is in a good neighborhood. There are just not enough different classes and choices offered to the students. They have just recently begun an advanced placement program and honors classes. The students having a hard time are often in the same classes as though students who ...  Read more

As a former student, I believe that a large amount of the teachers do not give the extra attention to students that are having a difficult time with the subject. I always wished my teacher would take me aside and offer some extra help. Very few teachers offer one on one help for students with problems. ...  Read more
