Benedictine is a great place. There has been bad press and stereotyping of the school. But that was a tragedy and out of the school. Benedictine gives young men a rock solid foundation in preparation for college and life. I sent two sons there, one who is a sophomore at a Catholic university with 3.8 GPA and the other is a senior at Benny who has flourished and has a great college experience ahead of him. My son currently in college

Gerard and his staff have done a magnificent job of focusing on the fundamentals of a good education. The faculty is very dedicated. The teachers can be uneven but the good ones are accessible and in charge of some great clubs. If you want your son to be ready for the real world this is the place to go. i had a horrible time in this school. i was in the honors courses, which were far behind that of any in the area. The honors math class was algebra I and honors english was still working on basic grammar. parents beware: many use this as a place to send their child after public high school. i urge you

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
