Read what parents are saying about Resurrection Ascension SchoolTerrible school. My daughter was bullied and the principal did nothing to fix the situation.I am still waiting on a meeting she promised my daughter and I regarding this. She does not have an open door policy. She is always "busy".Kids are super cliquey and the girls are catty in her grade .The principal and teachers play favorites.Academics is to be desired as some teachers should of retired a long time ago.Thank God I transferred her to a better school.
Posted by a parent on 6/22/2022This school is terrible when it comes to it's students and the way of teaching. The teachers do not care if you wish to be taught on how to do something in a different way and the students are some of the rudest people ever
Posted by a community member on 10/25/2017Resurrection Ascension is a wonderful school that provides a loving and caring environment. The principal, Mrs. Joann Heppt, is supportive, thoughtful and engaging. She knows every student by name and is always available to parents. Students attending Resurrection Ascension receive a high quality education with many additional after school activities. There is a morning program and an after school program that is very helpful for working parents.
Posted by a parent on 7/31/2014If you are looking for a GREAT school, look no more ! At RA you will find highly qualified, caring, nurturing, sincere role models for your child --- not only in the faculty, but in the student body. My child has attended RA since Pre-K and is leaps and bounds ahead of her peers ... intellectually, spiritually, and morally. Our Terra Nova and State Test scores are outstanding. Graduates go the finest High Schools and Colleges. When all is said and done, you will have a well-educated, well-rounded, successful child. I know I made the right choice for my child just as my parents made when they elected to send me to RA. The success stories are abundant, just ask around! Better yet, attend RA's open house to see for yourself.
Posted by a parent on 1/17/2013Looking for school for your children can be a daunting and stressful task, but the moment I walked into the RA Open House, I immediately felt the care and the love your children would be getting. I mean not the commercial kind of love - the real one - and you'll feel it. My kid has been attending RA since Kindergarten. I have to praise RA for the disciplines the kids are receiving, my child's performance has never been a question at least until now (thank God), but I personally think the environment the kids are leaving in also plays a big role in the education of our children. RA offers just that. I have to warn you though that in a private school like RA, the tuition, the dues and the volunteer works can throw you off balance; also, RA don't have lunch program either so be ready to prepare those sandwiches every morning (which I personalIy enjoy doing gladly because I know what my child is eating), but with your kids' future in mind, it is totally worth a great investment. Will definitely recommend RA.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe first review I read about the faculty being disengaged and unable to hear any criticism is so true. There is an older woman behind the scenes who is really the boss, who when questioned during covid about class sizes abused the parents for asking! There are so many better options in the area both private and public. My child was bullied and hit , and I was made the bad guy for complaining. Bullying rampant . Local will confirm. The school has a bad reputation for good reason.Mandatory strong armed fund raisers, money requests almost everyday, abusive nasty teachers whose own grand children go to other schools. No passion for anything but your money and their reputation.Locally people know its horribleI would never post this if I didn't think people should knowParent Review1mo ago - Our Lady Queen Of Martyrs School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur Lady Queen of Martyrs Catholic Academy (OLQMCA) has been an outstanding experience for my child. The administration is highly organized and has displayed exceptional planning and adaptability, particularly during and after the pandemic. This has resulted in minimal disruption to learning and uninterrupted education.I have been particularly impressed with the school's ability to navigate the challenges of the pandemic. While other schools may have struggled, OLQMCA has maintained a high-quality education while prioritizing the safety of students and staff. The teachers and staff are dedicated and genuinely care about the well-being of the students. They go above and beyond to ensure that each child reaches their full potential. The curriculum is rigorous and prepares the students for high school and beyond.I highly recommend OLQMCA to any parent seeking a middle school that provides a well-rounded, excellent education. Our child has had a truly exceptional experience, and I am confident that your child will as well.Parent Review1y ago - Our Lady Of The Angelus
