Read what parents are saying about St Mary's College Prepartory High SchoolFirst to introduce the ipad fully integrated into the curriculum. All of the teachers are comfortable with the ipad and use it to its full potential. Other schools just introducing it are experiencing issues with teachers that are not as technically savvy.
Posted by a parent on 11/29/2016I am happy with St. Mary's. The education the children get a good. There is always extra help offered before and after school. The teachers are great. there are plenty of activities and clubs to choose from.
Posted by a parent on 6/9/2016We could not be happier with the environment and education at St. Mary's. We have the utmost confidence in the teachers and administration. Our son has never been happier and his attitude towards school has become positive and even- dare I say- enthusiastic. The community at St. Mary's is very supportive and we are so pleased.
Posted by a community member on 11/20/2015Loved all four years spent at St. Mary's. It was a great dynamic of teachers and students.
Posted by a community member on 6/30/2015All I can say is that I am disappointed. Our daughter took the TACHS test and got into all 3 choices of schools. We decided to go with Saint Mary's. She did not earn a high enough mark for a scholarship. We were a little concern with cost. We live in the NYC school district and would not find out what school our daughter would get into until beginning of March. Saint Mary's made us pay fees to retain our spot at the school at the end of January. I totally understand the $300 fee to hold your seat. In total I paid $1000 in fees for things like gym uniforms, calculators, retreat fees, book fees, Ipad usage fees, and ipad insurance fees, parent association fees, etc. Was just told that they would not reimburse any of it. Like I said I understand the $300 deposit fee, but really you aren't willing to reimburse us for fees for things that we won't even be using. It is sad, because they are a business and I am sure they aren't hurting for money.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school kicked out my son because he was diagnosed with mild autism. NOT Montessori education, it’s not even accredited and it is ONLY a daycare center. Dont fall for their scam. They are NOT a private school or are they accredited by the MontessoriParent Review11mo ago - Our Lady Of Grace Montessori School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageA lot of parents pull their children from this school after a year or two. Many issues need to be addressed within the administration, particularly a very mean-spirited nursery teacher, and also a curriculum that does not fully equip students for kindergarten.Parent Review5mo ago - Buckley Country Day School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have worked at Buckley for almost ten years, and I can't say enough wonderful things about the school. The curriculum is always evolving to meet the moment and the needs of its students, while staying true to its roots in the liberal arts. The faculty and staff truly care for each and every child, by learning who they are as individuals and building a rapport with them over the years. Working with alumni, they constantly tell us what a strong educational foundation they earned at Buckley, supporting their academic success in high school and college. Buckley graduates are curious, think critically, and tackle each challenge they face with the tenacity and enthusiasm they built during their years at BCDS.Coming to work at Buckley every day is a joy (no, really!), and the campus certainly adds to the experience of the community. With 28 acres of sports fields and grounds, a pond, three playgrounds, and a new dining room and six additional classrooms on the horizon, the facilities at Buckley are beautiful, functional, and steeped in history. The parent community is warm and welcoming, and with monthly Parents' Association meetings and a Grandparents' committee, everyone in your family has the opportunity to be an active volunteer and participate in school events.I am constantly impressed by Buckley students and alumni, and I feel very lucky to work at a school that embraces and celebrates each and every member of our incredibly diverse community.Principal Review1mo ago - St Mary's Elementary School
