It Meets my expectations and then some

My daughter has been going to the school since September 2017. She is in the toddler program and my my has her speech vastly developed. I am very excited to get her into Pre-k September 2018 and onwards to Kindergarten and grade school. It is the dedicated at Cortelyou that has helped my daughter to be the brilliant little girl she is.

My son has been a student at Cortelyou Academy for 2 years and I am very pleased and impressed by his progress. The teachers are very informative and involved in every aspect of my child's development. It pleases me to know that I can go to work and my child is being physically taken care of and mentally stimulated. If you are looking for small class sizes, individualized attention, and a strong academic program then Cortelyou Academy is definitely the best place to be.

Our daughter has been a student for the past year and we are very pleased with the school. The teachers have been very caring and attentive. We are always confident that she is in a safe and caring environment. Our daughter loves school and we are delighted to see that she has learned so many new things. She is excited to go to school in the morning and she comes home happy. I love to see that the other students are kind and caring toward each other, at school and when we run into them at the playground or local stores. I believe this is due to the example the teachers and administrators set, as well as the values they teach at school.

My son has attend this school from their 2's program and now entering Pre-K (including summer camp) and I have had an excellent experience with them! My son has flourished and learned so much there. The staff and teachers are caring, loving and vested in the success of each child. My son's teacher Teyana Smith (or as my s on calls her, Ms. Smith) and the Director Sophia Francis have been very supportive and excellent educators. I am a very involved parent and they are always there to answer any questions. The school communicates very clearly their upcoming activities, events and school meetings. They hold several extracurricular activities to involve the children and parents in music, dance and arts. I love that they receive homework almost every day, it helped me support his curriculum at home. My son has received speech therapy through DOE at the school and they were very accommodating and welcoming of his therapy services. I highly recommend this school to all parents of Brooklyn. They are very affordable and provide an excellent level of education and safety while making class fun!
