I recomend Dichiaro to any parent and student. I have 2 children who already attend this school fourth and second grade and my 3rd will be joining pre-k in Sept. Every teacher my child has had was amazing. The principal is very hands on, and knows all her students by name. She is always on call

I recommend this school all the time. My two boys go here (5th grade and 2nd grade) and if we weren't moving out of the area, my daughter would be going there in the fall. Even though Yonkers doesn't have neighborhood schools, DiChiaro has a neighborhood feel. Parents are involved and the teachers

My kids take the bus and I don't get to as many PTA meetings as I would like due to scheduling conflicts and everyone at the school still knows me by name. Teachers are extremely patient and kind but will be tough when necessary (which I personally think is a good thing). It's too bad it only goes to 5th grade! We had a great experience there. Read less

Academically my child has improved. My son was transferred to a bronx school and he couldn't read within two months my son was sounding out words and identifing words. I love one of my guidance counceolrs mrs. Scheei. She keeps me up to date with my son. If there was any problem she never hesitated

Every time I attend a PTA meeting or go to any school function, I am humbeled by the level of comittment by EVERYONE at this school. Each child is treated as if they were part of the family. They have been working without a contract, but you'd think they were paid like executives, the way they work.

We just moved away from NY. My children have been to DiChiaro since Kindergarten. What a wonderful school, staff, Principal. Ms. Langan was always willing to help in anyway she could. Advanced Placement
