... Read more make our own destiny. I believe when I was there we started the day off with prayer that was the best thing to do. Your day was first God then school work and also great friends. We use to have study groups and help each other out in class and out of class. We all worked together as one unit. We had great team spirit and I believe love for one another even though we did'nt outwardly say it. I went to SJB 25 years ago and now I'm sending my daughter. She absolutely loves it! I believe kid's need discipline,safety, structure, Religion in their life, and teachers who really care. This school has all of those things and more! It is like a big family.

This school is amazing!!! The four years I spent in high school were filled with great experiences and thanks to SJB I was definitely prepared for college! It is 100% worth the money. I had to get a job sophomore year to help pay for my tuition and I do not regret that at all! I would do it all over

Read more have 9 periods) But if you dont want to try and you complain about the rules then you won't like the school. its a no BS place, they won't put up with junk if you dont want to be there; it gets in the way of the kids that do. i'll say it again, if you want a good education twhere people really care about how you are doing, both academicly and as a person, hen SJB is the way to go. i personaly love it there. I have gone to this school for 1/2 a year now. Already I can tell that though it is a challenging school it will prepare you for college. The Teachers respect you as a person as long as you respect them as well. I'd reccomend this school to anyone who lives on Long Island.

The school will prepare your child for college unlike what you see in public schools, no cell phones,no luches at the deli , sorry cant drive home for lunch. Alot of disciplin but in a soft way , with 2 parents in a household working a real structured school with lots of love, my kids dont come home

The school is great. My daughter went here and she loved it. The teachers are very respectful to the kids and the principal Mr. Lace is very informative to the parents. THe school does an excellent job with everything and because of them my child was well prepared for college.

Advanced Placement
