This school maintains such a family atmosphere with friendly staff from the principal down to the secretaries. When all other school's enrollment dropped, ours has increased! ... Read more with a computer lab, as well as computers in every classroom. Though they may not have core subjects every day, they have double classes of core subjects on the days they do have them. Not only have they met NY State guidlines, but have excelled and exceeded standardized testing in those areas. In addition, dance, violin, guitar and keyboard are part of the curriculum. Early Childhood kids are taught Italian and older kids are taught Spanish. There are wonderful enrichment clubs after school, also competitive and non-competitive sports programs. Before/After care avail., homework, books and grades on-line. Catholic School, not what you think! Read less

This school has seen a decline in the level of instruction which is very weak; the students are not given a strong academic environment especially through the material being offered to them on a daily basis. Core subject are offered only 3 times a week as such the NY State curriculum is not even routinely

When is the last time you checked the school website for activities? There are numerous things for students to due after hours, sports, dance, chess, drama, a variety of cultural art activities, including guitar, violin, band and an array of academic based enrichment.

My daugher attended Pre-K there in 2007, she attended 3 days a week for 3 hours a day. She is a special needs child. The faculty there are very caring, from the teachers to the nurse. My daughter is pretty sensitive and will normally complain about the smallest things, she always had the best things

OLL is a wonderful school not only academically but also it teaches the children about moral values. The administration is top notch, and they are an accredited school. I would never send my child anywhere else because she is so happy and is doing so well in school.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course.
