I am a Kellenberg Alumni and about to graduate college this May; I attened a Catholic College in Florida. Kellenberg was definitely a mixed bag. The work load was unnessasarily hard and only useful only if you're going to an Ivy League. Its attitude of demanding blind loyalty is often not consistent

I have two children at Kellenberg now and I wouldn't have them go anywhere else. They are both in the honors program and at times the workload is a little much but they do it without any complaints. I feel that they will both be well prepared to go off to college. In his Freshman year, my son said
... Read more to me that he really felt like he belonged at KMHS and has continued to feel that way during his years there. He will be graduating next year and I believe he will be very sad when the time comes to leave. My daughter is quite shy but has started to come out of her shell, the trick is to get involved in after school activities so that you can meet people. Both of my children have atttended Kellenberg Memorial HS from the 7th grade. I remember hearing about it when my oldest was in the 5th grade and I took her out to an Open House. It was incredible. It is was that day that we decided that was the jr high/high school for our family. And it became a family
... Read more affair. Yes the children attended class, joined sports teams, joined clubs and activities, but we were there every chance we got. Games, concerts, plays, Nat'l Honor Society Nights, Meet the Teacher nights, etc. We never missed one event. We were very proud of our children's accomplishments but we were also very happy to be there for our children's friends, also. And they both made terrific friends from all over the island. It is truly a remarkable school and I would recommend it to everyone. Read less

im a current 7th grade student in the latin school and it is way to strict for our age. anything you do will get you detention or demerits and there is so much homework. i come home and have to work for about 3 or 4 hours on it. when in my other school only 1 or 2. i know ive alot of bad things to say

I am a current junior at Kellenberg and I absolutely love this school. It is strict and challenging. The teachers, brothers, priests, and students are excellent. I could not imagne spending my four years of high school anywhere else. When I have children, I wish to send them to Kellenberg.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course.
