very disappointed with our experience...much more interested in keeping the kids quiet than enhancing learning...facilities very limited...teachers walk around with a chip on their shoulder...only a reasonable option if you live in the park...left after 2 years of hoping for more...my child came home

Sounds as though all of the reviews were written by the same person. Tuxedo Park School is clean and small, yet the cirriculum doesn't differ much from public schools. There are no special programs or clubs offered that aren't an additional cost ($150-$350). There are no accelerated programs. There

Tuxedo Park School is a magical place with high calibar academics, wonderful arts programs, competitive sports and a supportive, caring family environment all in a setting that is unsurpassed. Most importantly our daugther has been so happy from the minute she walked in the door.

When my daughter came to TPS in 6th grade, a light turned on! Suddenly, she was engrossed in her subjects, engaged with amazing faculty, making smart and kind friends, and trying things she never would have tried before. Thanks to the outstanding faculty and connection among students, she rose to challenges

During her time at TPS, she was the lead in the school play, captain of the field hockey team, an editor of the yearbook, a leader in community service projects, and graduated from 9th grade with honors and a deep commitment to integrity, citizenship, kindness, and respect. We have several children in the school and they each have very different strengths and weaknesses and yet they all love being at TPS. For students the environment is very much that of a large happy family. The teachers and staff are very supportive and students know everyone. From a parent's perspective,

My kids' experience with the school has been fantastic. It is academically rigorous, but because of its small size and the nurturing disposition of the faculty, every child is known and challenged according to his or her abilities. Our daughter attended the school for 9 years and we couldn't be happier with the education that she recieved. The teachers were outstanding and genuinely interested in the individual student and his/her development. We felt the school provided a very safe, caring but often challenging environment.

Our son has attended TPS for almost 7 years, and his experience has been wonderful. It is a small and very nuturing environment, with a passionate faculty and and staff. Everyone is known by name and if you are so inclined, parents can become a big part of the success of thier children's experience.

AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
