I have 2 children in this school. We have been here for 4 years now. My one child, who is a high 4 has always been fine. My other child, who is of special needs, has had many problems. ... Read more more concerned about the budget and their appearance, then the needs of the special ed students. My older child graduates this year. I will be requesting a variance for the younger one. It's a shame though, as there are some outstanding teachers there. Read less

I never feel welcomed at this school. My child has been placed in all the extra programs to help her to improve her writing skills. So far, I have not seen any progress. I do not even want to speak with the male assitant principal who has no idea about professional boundaries or respect toward parents.

Both of my children go to this school, this is our first year here. I agree, I do not feel welcomed at the school, there is little parent involvement, except for parents on the PTA. You can sign up to help, but no one asks, the tachers are nice, a few are old and grummpy.

* In 2006-2007 New York used the New York State Assessments to test students in grades 3 through 8 in English language arts and math, in grades 4 and 8 in science and in grades 5 and 8 in social studies. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
