Many teachers are excellent and truly care about the children. However, the school is severely lacking in leadership. The principal has a "we can't do that" attitude and allows his office staff to run the school. Many issues are not dealt with and it seems the principal feels it is easier to talk
... Read more about anything else but deal with the real issues. Even small problems can't be handled such as opening a gate or asking double parked cars to move. Forget dealing with any big issue. Several inneffective teachers and no actions taken. Could be a great school but needs to be changed from the top. Read less

OLHC is a wonderful school with an equally wonderful principal. It has been our school for nearly 10 years and have seen many changes over the years. With the new regionalization program in the Archdiocese there have been some changes that unless educated about the system, one wouldn't understand certain

Is a nice small school with good teachers. Has the potential to be a great school if it had proper leadership.The current principal is very ineffectual and does not want to hear about making any changes. Instead of trying to do what is in best interest of students,his response is "Well we can't do that".

I love OLHC because you feel as if you are part of one big family. It is a small school and everyone knows everyone and I find that to be very welcoming. The faculty happens to be very caring and nurturing to the students and I am certainly very happy with OLHC!!!!

AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. AP classes are specific and not to be confused with other higher-level classes such as honors classes.
"Extended day" programs where the school day is extended before and after school to accommodate working parents. These programs should not be confused with common after school clubs or athletic activities.
