My son is in his second year at ELS ans I have to say I am extreamly pleased. At 1st I was unsure if a privite school would be better then public but now I know I made the right choice. He loves going to schools and is always upset when schools is closed. All the descriptions written below are correct

Both of my children have spent all of their elementary education years at ELS. My son graduated last year and is in Honors at Farrell and doing very well. This is an exceptional school. All of the teachers, from every grade, know all of the students. My kids could not have had a more enriching experience

Having a child in High School after spending her elementary years at ELS has made me thankful that I made the right decision for her. She breezed through Freshman year, academically ahead of her friends who attended larger Catholic schools. More importantly, she is a well-rounded, caring individual

This is only my first year at ELS and I am beyond happy! My son is in Kindergarten and is learning so much. He is already reading, loves math and is learning Spanish too! He loves going to school and being there. He knows a lot of the teachers by name besides his own and he always says hello to the principal.
... Read more This impressed me from a 5 yr old. I love how the older kids know who he is. The parent involvement is wonderful. I go to PTA meetings and events at the school. I can't wait for my daughter to attend ELS as well. I know my children will be safe and cared for while not with me. I'm looking forward to the future years. This school is worth looking into. This is a great school with loving and caring teachers. Some of the books that the jr high reads are given as reading material in High School. In the math classes in high school the children do extremely well due to the fact that the math that is taught is considered advanced math for the jr high.
... Read more the lower grade have great teachers who take the time to prepare the students for the years ahead. Being a small school has great advantages: all of the children know each other, the teachers in the upper grade know the students in the lower grades. It makes for a comfortable enviroment where the younger children, even in Pre k, are at ease about school. I have had 1 child who just graduated in honors and is going to a great HS, and 1 child in the lower grades. I couldn't be happier. Read less

Academically they are right on target. Children seem very happy. they have a music program, foreign language starts in grade 2. Waiting for a new gym to be built. Teachers are GREAT! Would like more parent involvment.

The quality of this school is exceptional. The teaching ratio unbeatable compared to other local and city schools. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. AP classes are specific and not to be confused with other higher-level classes such as honors classes.
Before/After School

Vocational and/or technical courses offered within a comprehensive school, usually a senior high school.
Special Education Classes
A school or program within a school that provides services and training to students with moderate to severe mental and/or physical disabilities.
Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
