The Harbor School has been a wonderful place for my family. We have made so many memories and have done many great things together! The new playground is awesome! The PTA does so much for the school and the community, is constantly asking for input and trying to get parents involved. The Multi-Age
... Read more program is the best! We have so many great teachers who truly care about the kids and their families. This is our last year as part of the Harbor family and we're so sad to see this era come to an end. The Harbor school has been a safe and nurturing place for my kids to grow up in. It's nice to know so many people from the community as we enter into the Middle & High School years where communications aren't as great. My advice: Get involved! There are so many ways! I have 3 children in the seaford school district. Two of which are still attending the harbor school. This school is a wonderful envirorment for my kids. The teachers truly care about their students. The parent envolvement is above and beyond. I wouldn't want to send my kids to any other school.

We truly do make every effort to be sure everyone is included. I take great pride in having very open and laid back meetings. Remember, the PTA is a great arm to be used between parent and school. I agree with the current post in April 2007 from a parent with a child who deals with Seaford Harbor bullying and not being a great school. I feel the teachers are good but my child is going to be attending a private school starting in September of 2007 due to bullying and kids not being nice and also

The teachers are not at all involved with the students. Alot of bullying, they don't have no tolerance policy from the principal. My daughters self esteem has been shot down. She was an honor student in her old school. something has to be done.

I love living here in Seaford, the community is outstanding! The school board is trying hard to work with the community to better our schools...we could use some help with the taxes from NY state! We need smaller class sizes & we need to step up the conditions of our Harbor school & high school.

Advanced Placement
