My son has been at RCDS for 4 years and has loved every minute of it. The academics are superb and the extra-curriculars are wonderful. He plays hockey now, but can't wait until middle school when he can fence and play bass in the Jazz band! How many schools can offer that? The kids are terrific as

I am a graduate of RCDS and the parent of a current student. I think it is an exceptional school. Students receive very personal attention and although the work is challenging, the faculty and staff seem very committed to making sure that each student reaches his or her potential. There is a very wide

The school is OK, although not as good as Scarsdale public and Hackley (private) in my opinion. When I checked around Feb 2006, I could not find school's average SAT scores. I wonder how it compares with other competing private schools like Hackley and public schools like Scarsdale and Edgemont, who

This school is terrible. The teachers are not passionate about their jobs, too much homework (which leaves the student no time to use his/her imagination). Both my children hated every minute there, and they switched to a public school (which they love). The only plus to RCDS is the sports. If you don't
