My daughter is attending AC for her second year and we are thrilled with the school. The atmosphere is very warm because the staff is extraordinary. The academics are challenging and structured. The children that attend AC treat eachother with respect. It is like a large family.

Although the cirriculm is tough the teacher are so engaging it doesn't seem like work to my kids. I am a current eighth grader here at Allendale Columbia, and I could not recommend a better school to attend. The academics are challenging, and your schedule is always based on what you want to focus on. The teachers are amazing, too, and will do anything they can to help you accomplish your goals.

For our two children, AC has been superb. They both feel that they were literally rescued from the public school environment they had been in -- socially and academically. All the teachers that our kids have had have been excellent and love what they do. And the kids tend to look after and support one

I was a student there for two years in middle school, and I didn't like it. The academics were good, but still not challenging. The students could be mean and exclusive, and the teachers were a little too buddy-buddy for me. The food was awful, as were the athletic teams.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
