Poughkeepsie is a good school for honors student . The teachers care if you care. The school can be so unruly that the teachers do not help .Attendance is bad.I only suggest Poughkeepsie to the people who are intelligent who will have a better experience or anyone who is willing to take on the challenge.

As a former student, I can say that Poghkeepsie High is a very good school. It has an execellent staff. I am not thrilled by the present administration but, overall it is a good place to send your child to school.
