This school is horrendous. There's a reason the students call it JFK, "jail for kids". The administration and teachers are a joke. If you are looking for a full high school experience, plainview is just ok, I wouldnt call it exceptional. Most of the teachers do a excellent job but they could do more for school spirit and with the sports programs.

* In 2010-2011 New York used the New York State Regents Examinations to test high school students in English language arts, math, global history and geography, US history and government, living environment, chemistry, earth science, physics and several foreign languages. The results for English language arts, math, living environment, chemistry, earth science, physics, global history and geography, and US history and government are displayed in GreatSchools profiles. Students must take at least five Regents Exams in order to graduate.
