Pine bush schools is now one of the best schools in the county. With the help of teachers and parents it has progressed and many students eventually get involved with the IB program offered in the High School.

We moved to the school district in 2003 when my son was in the 2nd grade. I absolutely love this school , teahers, everything. The teachers we have dealt with have all been very caring and attentive to my son and his needs. I will be sad to leave when he moves onto the middle school.

I have 3 children attending this school. It is overcrowded and if your child has special needs this is not the school for you. There is no Occupational Therapy room and it is done in the hallway where all can see. For the most part the teachers are seasoned and caring. They go on an extraordinary amount
... Read more of field trips in each grade. The music and art department are good but there is no art room or music room so they must wheel it on a cart to the classroom. The lunch period and recess period is way too short--by the time the kids get outside they may have 15 or 20 minutes to play and that is not enough. I have a son who has been diagnosed with PDD, a form of Autism. He attends the BOCES Satelite program at PBE. The staff is helpful and encouraging. My children enjoy going to school! Read less

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. Before/After School

Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
