Principal Adele Kosinski is terrific and I will be sad to see her go. The teachers are caring, experienced educators. However, I am concerned about the lack of racial diversity in the upper grades of the school. If you are a caucasian student, you are a minority and this fact has caused some problems

The school is affordable for an upper Eastside school. Recently a track team was organized and there is a basketballclinic for the middle grades. The afterschool program has a drama teacher for the primary grades. French is taught in the lower grades. Each year moves the school to a new program.

I truly appreciate the experience and the feeling that everyone at school, from the receptionist, through our kids' teachers, all the way to the principal, knows our children and is being involved with proper care for them. The principal knows each student by name and greets both parents and students each morning and at dismissal.There are field trips that connect to what children are learning at each grade. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course.
