When LoMA say "LoMA cares" they really do care. It may seem like the teachers are annoying at first but they are really pushing you to be the best you can be. for all the four years I've been here I have improved so much.

LOMA is a bad school. They claim to be an art high school, but the truth is that they don't teach art, the students didn't know that it was an art school when they enrolled in. This is my last year here at LoMA and I can say it's been a great experience. I made a lot of new friends and met many helpful staff and teachers. I hope it continues to do well and grants many more students with plenty of opportunities.

* In 2010-2011 New York used the New York State Regents Examinations to test high school students in English language arts, math, global history and geography, US history and government, living environment, chemistry, earth science, physics and several foreign languages. The results for English language arts, math, living environment, chemistry, earth science, physics, global history and geography, and US history and government are displayed in GreatSchools profiles. Students must take at least five Regents Exams in order to graduate. Scores of 65 and above are passing; scores of 55 and above earn credit toward a local diploma (with the approval of the local board of education). The goal is for all students to pass the tests.
