The school has steadily declined for the past 4 yrs. There are little if any extrcurricular activites. There are no course electives and the discipline in the building is becoming a serious problem

I really enjoy this school. Students are so close to their teacher. There are rarely any fights but the security could be much improved. I am a current student. This high school is terrable. It has no rules for students to follow. Students fight all the time and in class they don't let the teacher teach. Police come to the school and arrest students for commiting crimes and the school security makes things worse for students. Students who want to learn are prevented ...  Read more

The teachers at Coalition provide their undivided attention to the students whether it is during school hours, or after. There are friendly relationships between students and teachers. * In 2007-2008 New York used the New York State Regents Examinations to test high school students in English language arts, math, global history and geography, US history and government, living environment, chemistry, earth science, physics and several foreign languages. The results for English language arts, math, living environment, chemistry, earth science, physics, global history and geography, and US history and government are displayed in GreatSchools profiles. Students must take at least five Regents Exams in order to graduate. Scores of 65 and above are passing; scores of 55 and above earn credit toward a local diploma (with the approval of the local board of education). The goal is for all students to pass the tests.
