This is one of the best High School left in the NYC. If you want a great education, healthy friendships, wonderful atmosphere this is the place for you. Cathedral High School has been a great place for my daughter. Their academic system is great. The girls are prepared for college and are offered internships. Cathedral High School is a fine school for girls. It's media studio offers the young women hands-on experience. In addition, the course selections are varied and relevant to today's issues. On the other hand, the school is ran like a business. There is a void of warmth and care for the students.

Cathedral High School graduates are accepted into some of the top colleges and universities today and its graduates have a high sucess rate of academic scholarships. One in every three women in New York City will have graduated from Cathedral High School. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. AP classes are specific and not to be confused with other higher-level classes such as honors classes.
Before/After School

Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
