My kids have been at St. Mary's schools (preK-12)for almost ten years. It is the school with a heart. The teachers are accomplished, personable and professional and embody the (not only) Christian virtues of kindness and compassion, while encouraging the students towards excellence in their studies

Mrs. McQuillan teaches art, Ms. Bean teaches music, Ms. Portugues teaches computers, Ms. Sharkey is the gym teacher whom every body loves, and Dr. Checchia is the beloved principal about whom there are not enough words to express what a terrific person she is. There is a lot of school spirit and the parents are very involved in every aspect of the school. They are very warm and welcoming. There are extensive extracurricular activities (sports, plays, band, chess, etc) and an afterschool program for working parents. Without being overly pious, they turn their Christian beliefs into action. Great School. Read less

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course.
