I think the school has changed for the better. The children have so many things to choose from and this keeps them from being bored. The teachers and all of the staff care about the kids and go out of their way to help. The principal knows what he is doing and has a plan that works.

I'm a 6th grader in I.S.10, and I REALLY like this school!! There aren't so many activities, besides Beacon, etc., but the school is really nice, and clean, but sometimes kids throw plastic bags on the floor. I have three children, all boys. My oldest graduated in the 90's. When he was at '10' there was not anything other than academics at this school. Clearly, he hated it. I'm a senior at this school and you have no idea how much I am blessed to have survived in this school. I would not encourage anyone to attend this school. My son has been going to this school for the past two years but this third year (2004) 8th grade has been horrible for him it is the second day of school and already many complaints!
