Friends Academy has a very good reputation on long island mostly becuase it has been better than other schools in the past. This school is clearly resting on its Laurels and depends on its reputation rather than current output. There are definitely some problems with the faculty that the school ignores

Friends Academy provides an excellent environment in which you can learn, and is a refuge for those with creative minds and spirits. Racial diversity is great, considering that Long Island is 97% white, and economic diversity is improving, as the endowment is growing.

Friends Academy is an amazing place to go. Although many students complain about the school while they're going here, alumni usually come back to visit and thank all their teachers for providing them with such a great education.
