... Read more fights up the block after school and everyone is aware of it (based on the crowds) yet the teachers have no idea. Educationally, he has been prepared for high school but with a lot of parental input. Many teachers do not call you back when you ask for a meeting. There are of course a few shining educators but on the most part, I think a lot of them have left over the past few years. This school is not the same as it used to be when my older child attended. I am very disappointed in this school. You can never get an appointment with the principal. Some of the teachers leave a lot to be desired. I find that if there is a dispute, the child and/or parent doesn't stand a chance in resolving it. I believe the saying is 'the teacher is always right.'

... Read more New York. This school is most definetly not like any other school - it's special in it's own way. The staff work hard to make students enjoy learning and the school environment is disciplined. Why, when I owed a few dollars to the computerized lunch system, I got called down to the dean for a chat! And if you're a parent whose worried about your child's safety in this school, then don't worry about it. We frequently have assembly's on bullying, and school safety. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. A school or program within a school that provides services and training to students with moderate to severe mental and/or physical disabilities.
Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
