My son started Holy Trinity school in January 2009. He was in IS 59 his grades were falling his grade level was 60-65 at Holy Trinity my son is excelling at 80-85 grades I am very happy with the help the teachers have given to my son. Thank you very much.

Yes, teacher and administration turn over is high and that is partly due to the low pay and in a few cases poor teaching. The academic programs are very poor. There is no good reason to send your child to this school unless he/she is in Pre-K or K, which have great teachers this year. The academic curriculum is poor.My child is in 3rd grade now and the teacher doesnot have the necessary supplies to prepare the lessons properly. Advanced Placement

AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. AP classes are specific and not to be confused with other higher-level classes such as honors classes.

Before/After School

"Extended day" programs where the school day is extended before and after school to accommodate working parents. These programs should not be confused with common after school clubs or athletic activities.

Vocational and/or technical courses offered within a comprehensive school, usually a senior high school.

Special Education Classes

A school or program within a school that provides services and training to students with moderate to severe mental and/or physical disabilities.

Adult Education Classes

Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.

English as Second Language

English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
