As a former employee at the Hempstead school district, and having worked with different individuals I can personally say, that this school district is a very dangerous place to send your children to have an education and learn. Since Hempstead is a melting pot for nassau county I feel that they are highly under funded by the gov. putting a unfair tax on the residents. But working with what they have I think that the school is also better then what a lot of people say.

I see many problems within our school that need to be addressed and when a problem arises it takes approx. 5 months for something to happen. We ask our community for a better education, reliable teachers, honest school board members, and an overall better education for the students of HHS.
