Our kindergartner was behind in her reading and writing compared the other kids. Her teacher identified her troubles and recommended a daily reading program and since our child has greatly improved and was approved for 1st grade. Top notch school, great programs for the kids and great teachers.

I have 2 children attending Cayuga Heights presently. I have been impressed by the personal attention my children have received not only by their teachers but the principal, assistant principal, nurses and other staff. Everyone knows most of the children by their names. This is my daughter's last

Read more year there and although 4th grade is stressful (ELA exams) for the children it is just as stressful for the parents and the teachers who have made teaching their careers and have had to change their teaching habits to 'NYS teaching habits'. Cayuga Hts has been diligent in the preparation for the ELA's beginning at the K level. I have two sons who have attended their first and second grade and it was a good experience for them as well as for myself. The teacher's were fair and cared very much about their work. I know my son's aren't perfect little angels but they were always treated well and fairly and honestly. thank you.

Advanced Placement
