While the community provides a great deal of support for this school, the school does not support all of its students. There is no gifted programming and the principal is unwilling to provide differentiation or allow grade skipping. Kindergarten programming is less intensive than our sons preschool was.

Our son went to kindergarten at Burton street and he had a great experience.(We moved for husband's job that summer after he finished school year) Very attentive staff and small class sizes, no over crowding. We will miss Burton Street Elementary!
