One of the best small public schools in New York State. An excellent teaching staff and administration and a student body that excells in all state and national tests. a wide range of activities for all students includes outstanding theater performances, an award winning newspaper, championship sports

Many alumni move back to CP after college and it is not uncommon for some teachers to teach several generations of the same family. A great smell town with an excellent school system. This school has good teachers and is okay overall. But, because this school is so small students aren't exposed to reality and have too many clique problems. This area also has many many students who drink and smoke even though a lot of them can't even drive yet. You can decide if you want your child

As a 1994 graduate of CPHS, I had a wonderful experience. The teachers' knowledge, leadership and caring for the welfare of their students is the best on Long Island. The education was outstanding, I found myself more than prepared when I entered college. CPHS offers a variety of activities. Year

This school is the worst school on long island. The teachers are horrible and the building is falling apart. Plus its attached to a Middle School. I do not recommend this school to anyone.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. AP classes are specific and not to be confused with other higher-level classes such as honors classes.
Before/After School

Vocation/Technical Curriculum
Vocational and/or technical courses offered within a comprehensive school, usually a senior high school.
Special Education Classes
A school or program within a school that provides services and training to students with moderate to severe mental and/or physical disabilities.
Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
