Catholic Identity is one of the strengths of Ss. Jospeh and Dominic Academy. Faith Formation takes first priorty at the school. Religion is the first subject of the day. There is opening prayer every morning. The students assemble everyday at lunch to pray the Angelus. Father Timothy takes the students

The teachers of Ss. Joseph and Dominic Academy are very dedicated, kind and understanding individuals. They all follow the New York State & Dioceses Curriculum. They prepare weekly unit plans that reflect their grade specific curriculum map and most importantly the needs of the children. They stay

i am a student a ssjda and i believe it is the best school in america tuitions ow for a catholic school the teachers and principal is alway there to talk to. it is a small catholic school with small classes so each child usually gets the individual needs.there is always some type of show or school dance

Two years ago the Academy got a new principal. It was announced by my church pastor that she is the first lay and african american female principal in Williamsburg. All the churches that sponsor the Academy supported her appointment and expressed that in the opening school mass. Most parents welcome

In our school news letter is was stated that the Academy had the highest New York State and standardized test results this year. Catholic schools are going through difficult times, so we stand behind our principal with wish her only the best. Read less

My daugther has been in ssjda for about 6 years straight and the school has helped her alot and she has help them . Which is a good thing but what I have a problem with is that why not improve the classroom and better desk and instead of shelf to put there books what about cubby or desk that can
