So far my child is learning alphabet and writing which she learned two years ago at Treasure Island. They are extremely strict and have an'edge'. I will be happy to get her out next year. There is nothing advanced about this school unless your comparing it to public school or have no frame of reference.

This September the school revieved the NCLB Blue Ribbon Award for excellence. NO OTHER SCHOOL in Brooklyn can claim this honor. There is no other school for our family. Read less

This is my second year in St. Bernadette, my oldest now in the middle school years. Being from another school we have had a taste of what is out there. Let me say that here at St. Bernadette I find all that I ever hoped for and more. Academically it is unmatched, I did not need a Blue Ribbon Award
... Read more to tell me that. There is more here, there is a real sense of commitment and dedication among the staff. The kids enjoy going to school and doing their homework, they do not look at it as work or as a duty , they enjoy doing it. I can see they are really learning and not just for the exams, but they are retaining it, it is knowledge leading them to wisdom and shaping them for their future. I am grateful for St. Bernadette School, and grateful for Sister Joan. I cant say enough how happy I am with this school.I have three children in this school and all three are doing fantastic!The school curriculum is outstanding the teachers are outstanding and sister joan does a fantastic job running this school. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course.
