St. Francis of Assisi School is a wonderful school where children are thought more about God and his works of mercy. This school educates children from Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade. They have after-school clubs and fantastic trips especially in the summer, that kids enjoy. What I like about the
... Read more school is the technology. St. Francis has ipads and chrome books. So you can clearly see this school has the potential in learning with the usage of technology. I think our school needs improvement on the doors and the water system. Our doors are absolutely fine but our is school want to protect our kids in other words keep them safe from any danger. Last but not least our water system. We need more hot water but no in our water fountains. If you choose this school to give the money to I am sure our school will make good usage of it. Thank You!! I have been a parent at SFA for about 7 yrs and LOVE this school. The principal, asst. principal and ALL the staff are the BEST! The school works as a community with the parents because we all want to make sure our children learn by example. The afterschool program is a wonderful place for my children

SFA has come a long way recently with remodeling, solar panels and new computer labs, I am very impressed and I can see that the tuition is being used well. My son's teacher is very caring and gives him the extra help he needs. The school lunches could be better, but not the fault of the school since

St. Francis is a great school. The adminstration cares about each and every child and they know them all by name !!! They have created a school that thrives on creativity ( two major shows a year !!). They are tech advanced and the lobby bathrooms have been recently updated. The school does everything

This is probrably the worst catholic school in brooklyn. The school has the worst bathrooms. On each floor the bathrooms smell, they are not cleaned properly. The bathrooms are not equipped with soap and warm water. The principals does know how to disicpline the children correctly. The classrooms are

Private schools are supposed to have less children for better learning. How can they practice for any state test with that number. This is why their tests scores are so low. Read less

I think that st. francis can be a better school by having small classes in all grades. There are too many children in one class, that makes it hard for children to learn and for the teacher. ... Read more much cleaner. Bathrooms should always have soap and warm water,and paper towels for children to wash their hands properly. And last, I personal feel that they are always short of teachers and staff. If teacher are absent there is not enough coverage.There should be a secruity guard by the front door. Many of times, stangers, and homeless people try to come inside the school and that is not safe for the children. Read less

While I believe there are several good teachers in this school, they are not in the critital grades 6, 7, and 8. The level of homework is not enough for struggling children to grasp the concepts. Administrators need to take parents concerns more seriously and not react in a knee jerk manner towards the
