The teachers are great, the school overall is o.k., the principal not so great. He not in touch with the community and tells parents what he thinks they want to hear. My daughter has been going to this school for 3 years now. It has improved since the new principal took over. They have great programs avaliable but the afterschool program has poor supervision. The school also has classroom opportunities to put on plenty of performances.My only problem with the school

Read more are the way the problem kids are being handled,and that it's hard to get involved as a parent because the prinicpal really doesnt want parents on the building for security purposes and for there isn't much opportunities to talk to the teachers,or go on trips. ... Read more school. Which to me is a A++. Yes they do need more parent involvement but that is up to you the parents. When your child brings home the PTA letters you need to attend. So that is up to the parent not the school.. Yes you might have to pay for a lot of the extra activities but it is worth every penny. It gives your child a chance to do different things. Maybe this year we (the parents) can try to come up with more programs. Read less

There are enough academic programs but aren't being supervised properly. The children do have art and music classes but the mmusic classes are of cost to parents. I have 4 children that have either are currently enrolled or have graduated. I find that the school has shown a great imorovement since the new principal has taken over, I can see an improvement with the school programs. My children have all attended the challenge program and my kindergarden daughter

Advanced Placement
