The principal at this school is very poor at commuticating with parents. Most of the teachers here are good but the ones that stand out are Mrs. O'Grady for 1st grade and Mrs. Feldman for Pre-k. they go above and beyond for the children. The rest of the administration is pretty good.

Staff morale is at an all-time low in this school. Everyone is so tense, the children are the ones who suffer because everyone is on edge. All who enter here better keep their opinions to themselves, the walls in this school have ears and they run straight to the office to report what they overhear.

Yes, the school may have some draw backs but, over all it is a good school. I can agree with other parents that the office help need extra improvement or a clean sweep. Scores overall are good. Teachers are competent. The safety agent is good. The 'office' is horrible. Upon entering the office you immediately feel unwelcome. The obnoxious secretaries look up, see you and then look away. The PA doesn't really try to recruit any new parents. And The Parent Coordinator

I am know this starts at home, but I really think the school should also teach the children to respect each other and make the kids feel safe. They have a good crossing guard but the parents drive near the entrance and ignore her commands. The gate is never locked so they get out of their cars and open the gate and drive thru. I saw a child almost get hit by a car and complained to the Principal but nothing was done. Read less
