I love my school. I believe my school is definately life changing in the sense that we are forced to do things that we arent comfortable with. Brooklyn Latin has the most dedicated and young teachers around. The students work extremely hard and the enviroment is very friendly and enthusiastic about learning. Basicly, we're all a bunch of nerds having a good tiime together.

Great principal and very, very good discipline and leadership. I love the small school environment and the dedication of the teachers. The principal has really honed in on what it takes to have an excellent curriculum and a great school.

TBLS is amazing! Although my son is a freshman, I've been truly impressed with his first couple of months at Brooklyn Latin. Brooklyn Latin is an amazing school. The students are dedicated and the teachers are more than willing to help. If a student is struggling the guidance counselor, as well as the teacher of that class, will work hard to find a tutor. The teachers listen if there is any type of problem. * In 2007-2008 New York used the New York State Regents Examinations to test high school students in English language arts, math, global history and geography, US history and government, living environment, chemistry, earth science, physics and several foreign languages. The results for English language arts, math, living environment, chemistry, earth science, physics, global history and geography, and US history and government are displayed in GreatSchools profiles. Students must take at least five Regents Exams in order to graduate. Scores of 65 and above are passing; scores of 55 and above earn credit toward a local diploma (with the approval of the local board of education). The goal is for all students to pass the tests.
