Great School. This is my son's first year in the school. He's sooo happy there. The teachers are very nice. A small class size allows more comfort for both the teacher and the kids which make it better environment for learning.

Every school should be like Adelphi! My child was in public school and I moved him mid-year to Adelphi. There is no comparison. Public schools are over crowded and have no real oversight over anything that is going on. At Adelphi, I get weekly calls to be updated, the teachers create individual programs

Adelphi Academy is truly a find!!! What a wonderful program. You can't spend more than 5 minutes in the building without falling in love with school and all the people there. So much charm and love. My children are receiving a tremendous amount of individualized attention and the program is very strong.

They show my children a tremendous amount of patience (which is not easy if you know my kids). The kids are learning, they are happy and they feel like they are apart of something special. They really seem to be interested in parent involvement and I have enjoyed the time I spent with the school's president. We love Adelphi!!! Read less

I think the school is fantastic. I enrolled my son in the pre-k program there, he will stay for elementary school and beyond. I can't wait for my younger child to go there next year. The administration is caring and constant parent communication is the norm. My son could not be happier, and neither

Adelphi has been around forever; and it has always had a wonderful reputation as a top notch academic institution. People should learn to take rumors with a grain of salt..you can't believe everything you read there are always two sides to every story. As long as the school is clean and operating correctly; and my children are happy, well educated, and cared for, I can not ask for anything more. Read less

I don t understand what some posters are talking about. This is my child's third. It s a wonderful school. She has all her books and has since school started. I have never been asked to provide copy paper. The only copies that are provided to my child are teacher handouts to compliment the text books

As for the comment of teachers getting tired of administrators, first, all of the administrators are teachers and teach at the school, second I know for a fact many of my daughter s teachers have been with the school for 3, 4, 5 and 6 years each. Don t be fooled by someone who has an ax to grind, come see the school in action. My daughter will be the first one to volunteer to show you around! Read less
