AFB Elementary is awesome! My child is in second grade but in math nand reading she's on a fourth grade level. Her teachers are helpful and dedicated. AFB Middle is good for 'normal' children but not for those with IEPS like my other child. They'e too strict and allow no time for recess or gym. ...  Read more

I'm really proud of my son level of reading and his overall academics performances. I will recommend achieve first bushwick to any parent that have great intrest in they children's education...

The school is unsafe and the administration lacks the necessary experience to properly run the school. There are constant fights, name calling and the staff is ill equipped to handle these ongoing issues.

I do not understand why this school does not distribute out any books. Only sheets of paper is given for home work and as a parent that is concern about what my child is learning throughout the day how can i go over any work assignments if the child does not have a note book with notes for review and ...  Read more

AF Bushwick is a wonderful school. My daughter started in K, now 6 yrs old she is reading at a 5th grade level.

AFBMS is an amazing school. Their curriculum is rigorous and my daughter has shown a huge amount of intellectual growth over the course of one year. I am not very pleased with the school. It's more like military school. This school is better suited for children with behavior problems. The educators are very concerned about kids academic progress. Not much emphahsis on physical education and recreation.
