I must defend this school. the principal came into this school to help adjust all the problems and she has done a wonderful job. You all have to remember, this is a Catholic school that receives no funds from the city like Public Schools. So the after school activities are not available. The teachers ...  Read more

Three years ago, with a great enthusiasm i enrolled my daughter to this school b/c a parent recomended it. my big mistake. i do not recomended this school to not body; not heat, bad food service, the children have poor academic leves compare to public schools, parents made complaint about all this situations ...  Read more

The school is in jeopardy of closing. No heat, mice, roaches are just some of the problems that this school is facing and Rev. Lorenzo Ato refuses to fix. Again the NY Archdiocese has been made aware of these ongoing problems and have done nothing.

Advanced Placement

AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. AP classes are specific and not to be confused with other higher-level classes such as honors classes.

Before/After School

"Extended day" programs where the school day is extended before and after school to accommodate working parents. These programs should not be confused with common after school clubs or athletic activities.

Vocational and/or technical courses offered within a comprehensive school, usually a senior high school.

Special Education Classes

A school or program within a school that provides services and training to students with moderate to severe mental and/or physical disabilities.

Adult Education Classes

Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.

English as Second Language

English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
