... Read more other as would a family unit. Students at St Johns are offered a diverse and superior education and are often challenged to excel in all subjects. Emphasis is not only stressed on education but in personal development as well. The principal is very attentive towards her students and truly is almost a third parent in her concern and dedication. The school does only have a small gym and we did eat in cafeterias in the basement.........but all of my memories are fond. I left St. Johns with a heavy heart and eyes full of tears!!! Read less

I am a graduate from this school 07 yea i did not like to many teachers but i can say the people i meet there were really awesome and there are to teachers that impacted my life Mr.Weber 7th & 8th grade social studies teacher he is one of the best teachers i ever had & ms Blount she is no longer teaching

My daughter has attended SJC since she was 4 attending the pre-k 4 program. She is now in 4th grade. This is a school i would recommend to any parent who is looking for an affordable private education. The teachers are informative, instructional and expect a lot from their students. I am a student who graduated from SJC in the Class of 08'. No offense, but I think you have to actually go to the school to know what it's REALLY like. I ABSOLUTELY DEFINITELY RECOMMEND St. John Chrysostom School. The school really prepares you for high school. A lot of the things I am learning now in
... Read more highschool were taught to me in SJC. The teachers are GREAT. Not only do they prepare you the best they can for high school, but they really care about you. The classes are also very interesting. In general, if you would like your child to attend an elementary school that will prepare him/her for state exams/high school, has a great, interesting classes, and a loving faculty, then I suggest you send them to St. John Chyrsostom. =] Read less

My son has attended this school since Prek-3. In overall, I think this is a great school. I do wish they had more sports available for kids in 4th grade and above. I also think they should have a website for parents to able to keep track of their kids test scores as well as the next subject for review.

Read more a lot of the kids in our school are average or above average. i have attended this school since i was 3 years old and i loved it and now my younger cousins go there. this school has made me the student i am today and school trips are not important education means alot more than any field trip.The classes are small in some public schools classes can obtain as many as forty to fifty children. 20 children to a teacher seems reasonable to me. I find the tuition expensive plus $250.00 in fund raiser,$1.00 for dress down days. The school has too many days off specially for teachers meetings,they need to be after school because they already leave at 2:15 M-T and fridays 1:20, this causes us working parents a lot headache and extra money. ... Read more need to update school activities for example there was only 1 trip in the year for my childs class. Only 2 assemblys in the school year and one was graduation. They also must cut class size they are too large. The education they provide is good because of that reason I keep my daughter there but if the tuition increases I would have to consider a charter school. Read less

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
