SHPS has been home to my son for over 6 years. He has made friends that will last him a lifetime and has developed the foundation of discipline that will prepare him well for High School and beyond. ... Read more high standards of academic excellence. The staff is terrific, all are attentive, encouraging and very caring. As parents themselves they can relate. I am very sad and dissapointed that the school is closing in June. Primarily because we were told in a mtg last yr. that they would not allow the school to close and they would work with us to avoid that. It will be very difficult for me to make a decision on where to place my son for the eighth grade and then find a HS for him. Thank you all at SHPS! Read less

This school has been around for almost 75 years. They have a website at www.sacredheartprivate.org. They feature small classes, less than 20 students, and have music, art, computers. The school has excellent academics and classroom management based on the Boys Town model (Father Flanigan in Omaha,

I am a lost for words that SHPS is closing. They should of gave us a chance with this school not just send a parent a letter in the mail stating that it is closing. We were a family. This wonderful school is closing. It will be difficult to find a school that will measure up to the high academic standards, the values and safety that was found at SHPS. It is truly an injustice to the children at SHPS whom will be torn away from their second family. I pray that someone will recognize

Sacred Heart Private School is one of the best schools i've ever went to. Though it is the only school i've ever went to so far being in this school helps me reach my full potential. My classmates and teachers make me laugh so much and make me see the kind of family we are. And just like families members

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
