P.S. 14 is an absolutely wonderful school, a rarity for the Bronx as far as I am concerned. This is a school that actually cares about their kids, they get them involved in so many different extra curricular activities, so much so that children enjoy going to school and actually look forward to it.

The after school program is great they help them with homework, they watch movies in the auditorium, they play in the yard. Read less

My son is now in 4th grade at this school - I have loved it from day one. All of his teachers have been very open and caring, and my son loves the school, his friends and his teachers. He also attends the after school program - where they feed them a snack, have home work time, and then take the kids

My child started Kindergarten at PS 14 last year and from the beginning, I could tell that the quality of the teachers and staff at the school was superior to some of the private schools I had investigated. My daughter is now in the first grade and she is doing well. Her teacher has given me her email

Even the staff at the YMCA program are very helpful and are genuinely concerned with my child well being. They give me regular reports on her behavior, whether good or bad, and have been very helpful. A++!! Read less

This school is a safe and good school. Academically, they are very good. We've had three excellent teachers and two o.k. teachers these past 5 years -so, basically pretty darn good I'd say. The program needs help, but is actually quite safe, so we have utilized it for $13.00 per day. Overall - very good school. Read less
